When did Le Moulin de Provence first open?
We opened May 1st, 1998.
How many Obama cookies have you sold to date?
Several hundreds of thousands.
Has there been a spike in Obama cookie sales since Trump took office? Has anyone bought an Obama cookie for Trump?
Nice :) Sometimes we are asked if we can bake some, but Obama is part of Moulin’s history now, - so he stays exclusive!
What does Le Moulin de Provence bring to Ottawa?
Le Moulin de Provence brings that French and Italian touch to the fresh baked food and pastries, also a special ambient, multiculturalism (we had more than 15 nationalities working at Le Moulin de Provence)
Ottawa businesses collaborate often. What businesses in The Market do you work closely with?
We work closely with many of our neighbours around us, -hotels, restaurants, retail stores, etc.
What is your favourite pastime when not working?
Tennis, soccer, hockey.
As a business owner, what keeps you up at night?
The dream to always raise up my passion and serve my customers the best I can, daily.
What inspires you and drives you in your business?
We are very passionate about the service we provide to our customers, it is very important to us as well as the quality of our products and the service we can offer.
How has Ottawa changed over the past 10 years and what has that meant for Le Moulin de Provence?
We saw many people from all over the world choose Ottawa as a destination for living. This created a new atmosphere in town. For Le Moulin de Provence, we saw our customers expectations growing also, so we've been trying to handle it at the best level that our staff and I can offer.
If you could choose one Canadian musician to perform at Le Moulin de Provence who would it be?
It would be Garou or somebody that rocks ! :)
